1. What is PermitsGlobal Application?

PermitsGobal is an international application that can be accessed via the web at www.permitsglobal.com OR if using a tablet or smart phone by downloading from the Apple Store or Google Play. PermitsGlobal is currently the only online flight permit application service which enables Users to stay in control of their flight permits anytime, anywhere.

2. Who can use PermitsGlobal?

Any flight operator or airliners in the world that operate internationally can use the PermitsGlobal application to apply, manage, revise, cancel or hold the flight permits of its fleet. Whether the flight operator is operating private, business, commercial or cargo flights on jet, turboprop or helicopter, the application is open to all. In addition, Agents legally appointed by a flight operator and or airliner can use the application.

5. How does the User pay for the annual subscription, permits and navigation charges

6. What is the annual subscription for?

Annual subscription enables Users to access the application, add Users, View Invoices, Add Revise, Cancel or Hold trip(s). Users can select the operator name, aircraft, departure and arrival airports from the World Airport Listing as well as view the flight route and more.

7. What is the Permits Sheet?

The Permits Sheet is the application auto generated sheet that contains the aircraft and flight details with updates on your permit status, permit number(s) and any other special requirements.

8. What are the general requirements to "add" a trip?

The general requirements to add a trip are:

  • Operator name
  • Aircraft registration
  • Aircraft type
  • Call sign if any
  • Flight number if any
  • Aircraft MTOW
  • Purpose of flight
  • Departure airport
  • Arrival airport
  • Date of flight
  • ETD and ETA in every airport

9. In “add a new trip” Why has the application prompted the User(s) for “Special” Requirements?

Some Countries and Airports have specific requirements when applying for permits. Regulations and regulation changes are implemented by the Civil Aviation Authority within a Country and you will be prompted for any special requirements at the time of your application should these be required. 

The requirements could be for one or more of the following: 

* Flight route 

* Entry and Exit points 

* PAX details (names, nationalities, passport copies, VISAS) 

* Crew details (names, nationalities, passport copies, VISAS, Crew documents) 

* Aircraft documents 

* Receiving party or inviting party details (name, address, contact details, letters) 

* Cargo details (for cargo flights) 

* CNOR and CNEE details (for cargo flights) 

* Diplomatic clearance for diplomatic flight

10. How long does it take to "add" a trip?

If you plan your trip properly, it should not take you more than a few minutes to apply for your permit.

11. How long does it take to receive the permit number(s)?

If the trip is submitted on time with all the relevant details, it should not take too long to receive the permit number.

12. How to monitor the status of my flight permits?

You can at anytime view the permits sheet of your desired trip and see all permit numbers that are obtained and see the status of pending permits.

13. What to do if the permit(s) is/are not yet obtained?

The application is always updating the permits and clarifying the status of pending permits. You can contact our customer support team 24/7 to follow up any pending permits.

14. What if my operator name, aircraft or airport is not in the listing?

The World Flight Operators listing, World Aircraft listing and World Airport listing is outsourced to the most recent updated database companies in the world. However, if you happen not to find your required data you can still enter this manually but it is not recommended. We urge our users to contact our 24/7 customer support team to notify them of any missing information from our databases.

15. What do I do if there is a technical issue on downloading or using the application?

The application is always checked for errors. Should you have any technical issue please contact our 24/7 customer support team for assistance.

16. What do I do if there is no internet access and I need to add, revise, cancel or hold an urgent trip?

17. What are the main features in PermitsGlobal?

The main features in PermitsGlobal are as follows:

Log in

A User can register to PermitsGlobal by selecting ‘Join’ at www.permitsglobal.com or selecting ‘Join’ after downloading the application from the Apple Store or Google Play. After registering, and paying the annual subscription fee the User then becomes a member (Master User) with a username and password that enables the User to log in anytime from any PC, MAC, iOS and Android.

User(s)

The User who creates the account and takes out the annual subscription is called the ‘Master User’ who can then create additional User(s) for their company for up to 10 User(s) with roles of applying trips and billing.

Billing

There are three types of Charges for the user. Annual subscription, Permit Charge and the Navigation Charge. Please refer to the pricing policy in the sub menu.

Add a New Trip

The Master User or sub-user(s) with given roles can add a new trip by selecting the operator name, the aircraft details, the flight details and the services.

Revise a Trip

The Master User or sub-user(s) with given roles can revise a trip. Revisions can be made to the aircraft details, flight details and services but NOT to the Operator Name.

Cancel a Trip

The Master User or sub-user(s) with given roles can cancel a trip at anytime.

Hold a Trip

The Master User or sub-user(s) with given roles can hold a trip at anytime.

In-process Trips

The Master User or sub-user(s) can always search the trips which are “in-process”. “In-process” trips contain all trips that are still not complete such as trips where one or more permit is still pending.

Trips History

The Master User or sub-user(s) can always search the trips which are “complete”. Trips History contain all trips that are complete i.e. the trips where all permit(s) have been obtained or trip(s) which have been cancelled.
